Volunteer Requirements

Volunteering your time not only benefits your child’s education but also helps build and maintain our active and engaged community. Each school year, families are asked to give a total of twenty (20) hours (10 hours for a single parent family). Families who are unable to serve the required time will be assessed a $100.00 fee per unserved hour at the end of the year. (There is also the option of opting out of volunteer hours altogether by paying $1200 at the beginning of the school year).  Please reach out to the Parent Teacher Group (spn.ptg@csdo.org)  regarding volunteer opportunities. If your child participates in a sport, there is a requirement of 5 additional volunteer hours to be served with the Athletic Program.
