Preschool Weekly Update – Week of 1/6
Happy New Year!
Hello Preschool Families,
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break! I enjoyed quiet time with my family and friends. Thank you again for the lovely Christmas cards and gifts. I will be asking for a couple of recipes for the delicious treats you gifted me. 😉
When we return to the classroom we will start our January curriculum, “Going on Safari” The children will also be learning about our “Jubilee Year 2025. Below is a brief description of this special year.
The 2025 Jubilee is a Catholic holy year that will take place from Christmas Eve, 2024 to Epiphany, 2026. The theme of the year is “Pilgrims of Hope” and is intended to be a time for renewal, forgiveness, and a stronger connection to faith.
Here is a list to help you and the children transition back into school.
- Pack a lunch and morning snack in separate containers
- WE ARE A NUT FREE CLASSROOM
- Water bottle
- Nap/rest time small blanket
- Dress for the cold weather. We are outside in the morning.
- 2 packs of baby wipes.
We are excited to welcome our two new friends, Quinn and Santi!
Enjoy the rest of this Christmas season! I look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, January 6th!
Peace, Ms. Grace and Miss Rosie
