Third Grade Weekly Update
Dear Parents,
I hope this email finds you feeling well and energized in this new year! Here in class, we are gearing up for our upcoming Catholic School’s Week with the Oratorical Fest, a Cultural Celebration, and Student Appreciation Day. We have also begun recruiting for our upcoming Family Mass on Feb. 4th and All School Mass on Feb. 14th. If your child would like to participate in either of these Masses, please let me know.
Today, students chose to have “Sports” as our Spirit Day’s theme for next week. They are allowed to wear any team or athletic attire they wish.
Here are some upcoming dates to plan for:
- Tuesday, January 23 – Free dress for January birthdays
- Wednesday, January 24 – Noon Dismissal, Teachers Professional Development
- Thursday, January 25 – School Spirit Day – Sports theme
- Sunday, January 28 – Open House, immediately following Mass/Science Fair 10:00-11:30 a.m.
- Sunday-Friday, January 28 – February 2 – Catholic Schools Week

Lastly, there are still winter colds and flu out there, so please be cautious and keep your child home if they are not feeling well. If they do come to school with an ongoing cough or sneeze, please provide a mask to wear. This helps everyone, including teachers, to stay healthy.
